What we do

  • Semantic HTML, a clear heading hierarchy and a “Skip to content” link.
  • A visible keyboard focus everywhere; the app is fully usable with the keyboard (see shortcuts).
  • Text and controls meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast.
  • Alternative text for images; charts have descriptive labels.
  • No information is conveyed by colour alone.

Motion & playfulness

This site is animated on purpose — but it listens to your system. With “Reduce motion” turned on, drawings appear instantly, springs and parallax are switched off, and nothing moves on its own. Interactive toys (draggable stickers, the lanyard on the About page, the easing lab) also work with the keyboard: arrow keys nudge, Enter activates.

Known limitations

  • Drag & drop on the board and in the planner has keyboard alternatives (change status in the task dialog, times in the block dialog), but no screen-reader announcements while dragging yet.
  • The activity heatmap shows single values on hover only; the total is described for screen readers.
